Mrs. Lucille C. (Galipeau) Benjamin, 103, passed away February 4, 2023 at Mt. St. Rita Health Center, Cumberland. 

She was the wife of the late George Louis Benjamin.

Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Henri and Alice (Lafrenaye) Galipeau, she had lived in Woonsocket and Cumberland most of her life.

She leaves her daughters Lorraine Bohmiller and Denise McMahon and a son Ronald G. Benjamin; 6 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

She was the mother of the late Jeanne Farrar and the sister of the late Jeannette Barnes, Laurette, Irene, Yvonne, Marcel, Albert, and Lionel Galipeau.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at St. John Vianney Church, Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland. Burial will be in Bushnell National Cemetery, Florida.
